I have been in contact with Oracle Support about an ORA-00600 internal
error code arguments [12263] and they have declared it a bug in
Oracle 10g and passed it over to Development so I expThere were two questions.
Can we leave the event in place?
If we set the tablespaces to read write will we be able to change them
back to read only?
Database is 8.1.6 on Solaris 5.8(Pretty sure).

ora 600 is an unhandled exception. you have to check metalink for this and possibly open a TAR.
there is an ora 600 search function on metalink that has some limited information.
